Jetts Fitness ready to welcome members back safely

Demand in health and fitness services is set to bounce back after lockdown with increased importance people place on health and wellness

Jetts Fitness Thailand, the fastest-growing fitness chain in Thailand, announced on 30 September 2021 that it is ready to welcome members back as the government eases business lockdowns. Jetts Fitness facilities will resume their operations with rigorous COVID-19 prevention measures to ensure a safe environment for all members and employees.

Dane Cantwell, Country Managing Director, Jetts Fitness Thailand, says: “We are delighted to

to welcome back our members with a number of safety measures in place. Although it’s been a challenging year, especially for the health and fitness industry, Jetts Fitness remains optimistic about Thailand’s fitness businesses as the pandemic has increased people's determination to lead a healthier lifestyle for overall wellbeing. We believe that the fitness industry will be the most likely to thrive once physical facilities reopen. At the initial stage, we expect to see around 50% of our members returning to their gym routine.”

Mr. Cantwell further adds, “To continue our mission to make fitness accessible to everyone and maintain our market-leading number of clubs, in addition to the opening of Siam Square One and Amorini clubs earlier this year, we are expanding our offerings to connected solutions in order to engage members with virtual workout classes moving forward.”

New Hybrid Fitness Offerings

COVID-19 has also brought about a blend of online and in-person training. The hybrid model may prove to be a lasting change for the industry, thanks to more convenience and flexibility. Responding to consumer trends in the new reality, Jetts Fitness has recently launched its mobile application to connect with members in a holistic manner. The Jetts Fitness Thailand application provides digital workout options which members can enjoy no matter where they are. The newly-launched app, available on iOS and Android, offers a variety of virtual training programmes, exclusive in-app offers, class schedule and a list of clubs nearby.

Super Special Reopening Deals

To celebrate the reopening, Jetts Fitness is offering “We Miss you & Welcome Back” special promotion* in partnership with Under Armour. Throughout October, new and current members who apply for 12-month membership will receive an Under Armour shoe bag (valued at 790 baht), while those who sign up for at least 36-session PT programme will get an Under Armour Contain Kit Bag (valued at 890 baht). Jetts Fitness and Under Armour members can also enjoy mutually exclusive 10% discount on memberships and product purchases from both partners until 31 December 2021.

Rigorous Precautionary Measures

Placing highest importance on the health and safety of members and staff, Jetts Fitness follows strict COVID-19 prevention measures with staff requiring full vaccination and weekly testing. In addition to universal on-site masking for all employees, members and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, other mandates include physical distance between gym equipment, limiting member capacity, hourly cleaning and deep sanitation of equipment and frequently touched surfaces in accordance with government COVID-19 control measures.
