Siam Paragon presents ‘Thai O-Cha’ – a parade of delectable foods from across the country

Exciting new food festival supporting entrepreneurs with free retail spaces is all set to help revive the economy from 1-5 December 2021. Only at Parc Paragon!

In line with government policy to boost the nation’s economy and tourism, Siam Paragon offers free retail spaces for entrepreneurs, bringing together the best Thai food from over 50 famous restaurants across the country at “Thai O-Cha.”

Supported by Kasikornbank PCL and Trip.com Group, the food festival is a foodie’s paradise with a joyful vibe at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon, from 10.30am-8pm while observing high-level hygienic and safety measures.

The event gathers together over 50 well-known restaurants including those listed in Michelin’s Bib Gourmand guide, including: Somtum Khun Kan offering tasty som together with a wide variety of authentic Thai and Thai-Isaan-style cuisine, and; Khanom Bueang Waan Phueng Noi devoted to Thai-style crispy crepes or khanom bueang topped with aromatic coconut cream and sweet egg floss.

Food lovers can indulge in authentic Thai dishes such as Miang Kleeb Bua Baan Suan traditional savoury bite-sized appetizer wrapped with lotus leaves. Miang Kleeb Bua Baan Suan was recently selected to represent the flavours of Thailand in the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. 

Also joining “Thai O-Cha.” are many popular long-queue eateries such as: Muek Yang Dan Mangkorn featuring grilled squids with spicy seafood sauce; Khao Tom Mud Yai Foo whose pleasant-tasting steamed banana in sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf is so popular that it is served in an airline passenger lounge, winning the hearts of both local and foreign passengers; Paa Bum Baa Bin Maprao Nam Hom serving up Thai-style coconut pancake cooked with secret recipe by local residents of Ayutthaya; Khanom Krok Jay Kaek Haek Pak from Nakhon Pathom province presenting Thai-style sweet-savoury coconut pancake with lots of topping; Guay Tiew Taywada – a legendary noodle shop in Samut Prakan province’s Lasalle area; Moo Satay Mangkorn Thong – an iconic destination for pork satay with distinct smoky flavour in Yaowarat, Pang Kai Tatat Phlu, and Tao Tueng Yaowarat Chao Guay Boran 80 Pee.
