Chia Tai Company Limited, represented by Mr. Prawin Khurowat, Chief Financial Officer, on 25 February 2022, led staff members to present a donation of 620 out-of-date desk calendars to the Foundation for The Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen. On this occasion, Ms. Charassri Srimanee, Head of the Office Administration of the Foundation for The Blind in Thailand, and Mr. Prasong Subannaphong, Director of the Bangkok School for the Blind, honoured the ceremony with their presence to receive the donation which will be utilised to produce braille learning materials for the blind.
These calendars were gathered from Chia Tai employees companywide under the company’s “Sharing Calendars, Sharing Happiness” campaign which gives them the opportunity to contribute to society through a simple act of sharing. The gesture also helps preserve the environment and nurture sustainability mindset in accordance with the company’s 3P sustainable development pillars of prosperity, people and planet.
