MQDC engages Accenture to create its Metaverse

MQDC gears up for a new journey, committing to delivering limitless experiences beyond real estate development

MQDC, a leading property developer, has announced a collaboration with Accenture, a global professional services company, to chart its Metaverse journey, reimagine user experience and augment daily lives beyond imagination.

“MQDC’s Metaverse initiative is a major milestone in advancing new business,” declares Mr. Visit Malaisirirat, MQDC’s CEO. “The new business sees MQDC expand from a leading international property developer to a creator of limitless new experiences for customers, users and everyone interested in participating in the new realm linking the real and virtual worlds.”

“Under the concept of ‘For All Well-Being,’ MQDC is committed to researching new technologies and thinking outside the box,” he continued. “This approach has made us a technological pioneer bringing sustainable wellbeing to people and society in an era of digital transformation.”

In the future, the Metaverse of MQDC will be connected and operated as a part of ‘Translucia Metaverse’, a Mega Metaverse created by T&B Media Global (Thailand) Co., the leading entertainment content and animation series creator.

“As the first property developer partner of Translucia Metaverse, we plan to develop a virtual MQDC world of imagination and happiness and a warm community.”

Mr. Parut Penpayap, Project Director of MQDC Metaverse, comments that, “Accenture brings its leading Metaverse-related capabilities, combining advanced technology and human ingenuity to unlock positive change. The collaboration will involve planning and designing a Metaverse presence, researching demand, customers, and serviced users. Accenture will help MQDC develop an incredible experience in its Metaverse.”

He added that the collaboration focuses on three elements: providing an experience beyond imagination for MQDC’s current and new customers, creating opportunities for people interested in Metaverse business development, and providing a space connecting the real and virtual worlds without limit for customers and others to enjoy an unprecedented hybrid experience.

“We are confident that by tapping Accenture’s creativity, technology, and industry depth, we will create a Metaverse that brings real value to users,” Mr. Penpayap adds. “Our Metaverse will showcase the vision of an immersive internet as a massive, unified, and shared realm.”

Mr. Divyesh Vithlani, Senior Managing Director and Southeast Asia Market Unit Lead at Accenture, said, “The market opportunity for Web3 technologies and the Metaverse is potentially greater than the Web 2.0-enabled economy. We are very excited to help accelerate MQDC’s virtual economy ambitions.”

“Through the setup of the Metaverse Continuum Group, Accenture plays a pivotal role in reshaping the future of work and helping businesses leverage emerging technologies. We aim to support MQDC’s ambition to develop a fully functional and sustainable Metaverse economy where users have greater choice and control over how they work, live, play, and learn while building a greater sense of community and culture. This collaboration is a great example of how technology and innovation converge to bring business value and one-of-a-kind user experience to the industry.”

Mr. Husin Adam, Managing Director and Products lead, Thailand at Accenture, said: “Imagine a virtual 3D world where you can accentuate your presence or create a different version of yourself to make a positive impact on business, society, and community – all from the comfort of wherever you are with no geographical boundaries. Metaverse can offer users the freedom to create, explore, engage and have fun in various environments across a spectrum of digitally enhanced worlds and realities. Accenture’s collaboration with MQDC pushes the boundaries in the digital space and takes users through an immersive journey set in physical, virtual, and fantasy environments.”

Meanwhile, MQDC was among 11 partners launching Crown Token, traded on Zipmex from March. The utility token has a fully integrated ecosystem through partners in Thailand and worldwide in industries including entertainment, fintech, e-sports, and education. The token is also linked to the intellectual property (IP) portfolio developed by T&B and its partners.

Mr. Malaisirirat said MQDC has worked on projects from real estate to fintech and now the Metaverse under its principle of “For All Well-Being” to benefit all life on our planet.
