Enzo Rosani’s Journey From French Professional Sports to Miami Real Estate

People begin careers in real estate for a variety of reasons, but few in the industry can say they have been the captain of a country’s sports team before following their family member’s footsteps into the business. But Enzo Rosani can.

Having spent around five years playing professional football, Rosani was even captain of the French National team for two years and competed in two World Cups and a European Cup. While he cherished his time as a professional athlete, Rosani’s future career in real estate was already right in front of him. “My dad was in real estate in Paris,” he explained. “He showed me that the opportunities are endless and I loved the fact that you have full control of your own future.”

Rosani made the move to Miami after graduating from college in 2017, and he has loved the city ever since, even proclaiming to be the biggest fan of Miami that you could ever meet. The Miami real estate market is especially lucrative these days, smashing records each quarter due to pent up demand. The sunny city’s especially hot real estate market is flourishing thanks to both domestic and international homebuyers and renters. Last year ended with 39,394 total home sales, up 49.5 percent from the 26,345 transactions in 2020, according to research done by Norada Real Estate Investments.

Thanks to the natural progression into the real estate world due to his father’s guidance, along with an exciting Miami market and the transferable skills Rosani was able to take from his time as a professional soccer player, his career is already in a great place. “Being a former athlete has helped me in many different ways throughout life. Especially being in a fast-paced and very competitive market such as Miami,” explained Rosani. “I have always been very competitive, results-oriented, and a team player, so whether it's finding that perfect property, negotiating the best deal, or managing a team, this is nothing new to me.” His experience in sports helped him spearhead the launch of the Sports and Entertainment division of Barnes International Realty. He is particularly equipped to anticipate the needs of celebrities and athletes, so this was another natural move for Rosani.

Rosani was recently part of Miami’s very first deal that was fully paid for in cryptocurrency, in which he sold a penthouse in Ethereum. Rosani believes that cryptocurrency is the future, and that it is changing the way luxury transactions are carried out. “Four – five years from now, I predict that 30-50% of real estate transactions will be done using cryptocurrency,” he said.

For his day-to-day life, Rosani enjoys that working in real estate means that each day brings something different. Some days require lots of computer work, while other days he is out and about, running around the city. Some places in Miami where Rosani enjoys winding down include The Standard, Joia Beach, Socialista Lounge and Casa Tua.

Looking to the future, Rosani expects Miami to soon be the most important city in America. With the apparent social, economic and cultural revolution that appears to be taking place in the Magic City, this prediction is well on its way to being true.
