Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) and Thai-MC donate 1.5 million to Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation for "Punsuk Im Jai" (Sharing Happiness) Project

Dr. Sirina Pavarolavidya (2nd from right), president of Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation, received a donation of 1,500,000 baht (one million five hundred thousand baht) from Mr. Shoichi Ogiwara (2nd from left), president of Thai-MC Co., Ltd. and Mr. Suntipong Buranakittayakorn (1st from left) General Manager, representative of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., to contribute funds to Dr.Thiam Chokwatana for the "Punsuk Im Jai” (Sharing Happiness) project to alleviate suffering of people affected by the Covid-19 situation by providing consumer products and alcohol gel and so on.

“The Foundation has continually carried out activities to help society, whether in the field of education, public charity, religion, art and culture, including activities that benefit society and alleviate suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic,” said  Dr. Sirina Pavarolavidya, president of Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation. “We have distributed more than three million packets of Honest Noodles that don't contain MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) to those who live in red areas in Bangkok and vicinities, including Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Prakan. There were still many people in trouble there. We are delighted that Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Thai-MC Co., Ltd. have supported and contributed to the donation of 1.5 million baht which the foundation will use for the benefit of society and to bring smiles to people”.

“During the past two years, Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) has been aware of the troubles of the people in society affected by the Covid-19 situation,” commented Mr. Suntipong Buranakittayakorn, General Manager of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. “We are contributing our ongoing support and assistance activities including donating 535,000 baht to 11 hospitals to help provide medical services. Our intention is to help the Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation organise the Punsuk Im Jai project. As such, we are joining THAI-MC to support the project with 1.5 million baht as we believe this is another channel to help and support assistance to those in need.”
