In the craft of designing shoes, innumerable shapes and decorative features are tried out for a period of three years to arrive at shoes which are universally acknowledged as a harmonious and classic design. The three new styles are Cap-Toe Oxford, under the Brighton label, Penny Loafer, under the Hastings label, and Original Sneaker, using the Carnaby label. Each of the three shoe styles incorporate the classic DNA of the OLD POSH brand. Each pair of shoes has been proven by over 100 years of design experience, and their classic construction should last for another century.
Finest materials
We have sought out raw materials from every corner of the world, with over 100 patterns requiring the materials favoured by OLD POSH. These include full-grain cow leather from 30 different breeds of cow raised at special farms exclusively for their leather. The insoles and uppers are premium-grade porous sheepskin, while Italian leather soles come from special Italian cows producing the most durable leather.
Master Craftsmanship
“Handmade” is bandied about as a selling point for a brand, but for OLD POSH, “Handmade” is not the be-all and end-all. With a production process of over 100 steps, OLD POSH will incorporate into its workflow any step for which machines yield the superior result. Likewise for any part of the process requiring a delicate touch that is beyond the reach of machines, master craftspeople, some with over 30 years of experience, are the obvious solution. With such a complex process, production runs are short, exchanged for building durability into each shoe, to grant it a useful lifetime of over 10 years.
The end product is extremely high-quality shoes in the uniquely OLD POSH style with a proud 10-year warranty. Each pair of OLD POSH shoes carries a Unique Serial Number for the purpose of requesting repairs, a system used by very few other brands in the world.
