Siam Paragon reaffirms its position as a ‘global destination’. One of the top-of-mind destinations among Thais and international tourists from all over the world is set to celebrate Chinese New Year 2023 to welcome the Year of the Golden Rabbit with a grand celebration – “Siam Paragon the Grand Celebration of Golden Prosperity 2023” – which will take place from 20-29 January 2023.
The event highlights an exquisite dance performance from China named “Zhi Shi Qing Lu” which means “Indigo Green Mountains” and a golden dragon blessing and lion dance. Visitors can also worship a replica of the Tian Tan Buddha statue from Hong Kong in the ambiance of Ngong Ping Cultural Village. Moreover, a famous Thai fortune-teller specialising in Chinese astrology and a feng shui master will share luck advice along with a gathering of over 43 top fortune tellers and astrologers, so you can have your fortune read for the Year of the Rabbit. Many famous actors, actresses and artists will also be joining the Chinese New Year celebration.

Be captivated by exquisite dance performances from China
The first highlight is “Siam Paragon the Grand Celebration of Golden Prosperity 2023” which features a dance show by the legendary Dingyi Dance Troupe from China’s Guangdong Province called “Zhi Shi Qing Lu” (Indigo Green Mountains) which features the elegance of women’s dance movements. The performance is inspired by one of the top ten ancient Chinese paintings, Qian Li Jiang Shan Tu (A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains), created by a Northern Song Dynasty master painter named Wang Ximeng. Because of his usage of green and blue from natural minerals, this painting differs from traditional black and white paintings.
This ensemble has been invited to perform at major national events, including the National Television Station CCTV’s New Year’s Eve celebration. This show will be held at Parc Paragon of Siam Paragon from 20-22 January 2023, stage twice a day, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy great performances by Thai and international superstars
From 20-23 January 2023, Parc Paragon will feature performances by Thai and international superstars. Admission is free. On 20 January 2023 will be Patchrapa ‘Aum’ Chaichua and Nattawin ‘Apo’ Wattanagitiphat, who will be wearing exquisite jewellery sets from Blue River worth more than 98 million baht. On January 21, meet and greet the duo Thanawat ‘Bom’ Uthaikitwanit and Atiwat ‘Tar’ Saengtien. On 22 January, meet Krit ‘PP’ Amnuaydechkorn and Metawin ‘Win’ Opas-iamkajorn. On 23 January, meet the top international boy band WayV, with the presence of Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, and YangYang, travelling straight to meet their Thai fans exclusively for this event.
Featured also are golden dragon and lion dances, demonstrations of Chinese culture and arts such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese paper-cutting, live modern Chinese music, and Instagram-worthy installation arts in Golden Rabbit theme, which will last until 29 January 2023.

Worship the replica of Hong Kong’s most famous and venerated Tian Tan Buddha image
The replica of the Tian Tan Buddha from Ngong Ping, Hong Kong, is the second highlight. Master Katha Chinabunchorn, a prominent Thai fortune teller, travelled to Hong Kong to respectfully conduct an invitation ceremony so that the replica may be present in Bangkok for worshipers to pay tribute and pray for blessings, and the surrounding area of the event is set in the ambiance of Ngong Ping Cultural Village.
A limited number of consecrated mementos that have passed the ritual from Hong Kong will be given out to visitors for auspiciousness. Famed fortune tellers and Chinese Feng Shui masters, including Katha Chinabunchorn, famous astrology Pennueng Wongphudorn and Toktak A4 will also provide recommendations for the Year of the Rabbit between 20-24 January 2023 at Fashion Hall, 1st floor, Siam Paragon.

The Siri Wattana Cheshire Foundation Under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen is gathering 43 renowned fortune tellers and astrologers from 16-22 January to showcase the finest of Chinese prophecy and various kinds of astrology in the event “Siri Wattana Fortune-telling For The Disabled” at Crystal Court, 2nd floor, Siam Paragon.
