BJC ranked 1st in DJSI with world-highest score

Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) Emerging Markets for the third consecutive year, ranking 1st in Food & Staples Retailing, and achieving the highest score in the industry’s history.

The achievement was announced in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2023, a global report on corporate sustainability performance across different industries, in which BJC is included.

The award reflects BJC’s efforts to drive positive change across its businesses and the wider food and staples retailing sector. It attests to the company’s track record as a sustainable business partner driving better living experiences and social development over the past 140 years. In so doing, the company takes the three key dimensions of sustainability (Environment, Social, Governance) into consideration in every aspect of its operations.

Over 7,500 companies in 61 industries worldwide participated in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, the world-renowned sustainability index.
