Over the years, Siam Motors Co., Ltd. has paved the path to success and fame as Thailand’s leading automobile and parts manufacturing business conglomerate, renowned by both Thai and foreign businessperson. Today, the company has reached its 71st year, boasting stability and strength due to its unwavering determination and continuous organisational development under the leadership of Dr. Phornthep Phornprapha, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Phornthep has been driving the business of the Siam Motors Group to grow, succeed, and sustainably create jobs and business growth along with Thai society for a long time.
According to the resolution of the board meeting of Siam Motors Co., Ltd. on April 24, 2023, Mr. Prakasit Phornprapha was appointed as the President of Siam Motors Company Limited, promoted from his original position as Executive Vice President. The company has successfully grown its 6 main business groups, including the automotive industry, automotive parts, construction and industrial, hospitality and lifestyle, education and investments.
Mr. Prakasit Phornprapha, President of Siam Motors Co., Ltd, stated that “The company will continue to drive business and build strength, seek new opportunities, and foster personnel development to grow continuously. In 2023, various projects will be launched, including the Siam Pathumwan House, a 33-story Grade A office building located at the centre of Pathumwan intersection, which is expected to be officially launched around the end of this year. Another upcoming project is the ‘SMG Academy’ project, which aims to develop and prepare employee within the Siam Motors Group to be able to adapt under VUCA world. Human resources development is considered the key of building a strong and stable business foundation for the company to grow sustainably and stand alongside Thai society going forward.”
