The Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) has been awarded the prestigious "Trade Association Prestige Award 2023" by the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Board of Trade of Thailand.
The award ceremony was held as part of the 2023 Annual Conference of the Board of Trade of Thailand, themed "Connect-Competitive-Sustainable." This recognition highlights TCMA's significant contributions to driving the Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement & Concrete Roadmap, fostering collaboration across all sectors to reduce greenhouse gases and align with national and global climate emergency policies.
Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of the Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), expressed pride and gratitude for receiving this prestigious accolade in the Outstanding Trade Association category at the Trade Association Prestige Award 2023. The award was presented by Mr. Keerati Rushchano, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. This recognition is bestowed upon trade associations that exhibit excellent management practices, benefiting their members, strengthening their operations, and meeting evaluation criteria for organizational efficiency based on the Balanced Scorecard approach. This approach assesses mission accomplishment, management competency, service quality, and organizational development.
Dr. Poomee stated, "This achievement acknowledges TCMA's unwavering commitment to exceptional leadership in advancing the Thai cement industry in alignment with Thailand's national greenhouse gas emission reduction goals. We have implemented Thai Cement Climate Actions and Collaboration towards Net Zero 2050, and TCMA is profoundly grateful to our members, all leading cement manufacturers in Thailand, for their collaborative and active efforts in making visible progress.
