Pattaya Group Announces Launch of "PATTAYA Airways"

Unveils Plans to Commence Air Cargo Services in Q4 2024

PATTAYA Group, a well-known and established entity in the aviation industry, has launched "PATTAYA Airways" to cater to international air cargo services. This move aligns with the growth trends in the logistics and e-commerce sectors, ensuring the provision of contemporary and efficient air transport in the region. The airline is led by Mr. Tosaporn Asunee, Chairman of the PATTAYA Group, and Mr. Nat Boonyavichkanont, Chief Executive Officer. They received the Air Operating License (AOL) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand on September 18, 2023, and plan to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Mr. Tosaporn Asunee stated, "Given our primary focus on the aviation sector, both passenger and cargo, we see a rising demand for air transportation services as the post-Covid situation stabilises. The industry is bouncing back, and the demand is increasing rapidly. Currently, demand outpaces supply. Recognising this opportunity for expansion, we decided to venture into the airline business with 'PATTAYA Airways' primarily targeting international customers in the Asian region, with plans to expand into other regions in the foreseeable future."

PATTAYA Airways prides itself on offering a comprehensive air transport service, with a strong focus on safety – be it aviation, personnel, or timely delivery. Their international routes are a result of collaborations with B2B partners. Moreover, the airline has set its sights on expanding to ASEAN countries, using the ATR72 Series aircraft. With the backing of the PATTAYA Group's extensive operations, which include top-tier air freight services in Thailand and innovative technologies from expert subsidiaries, PATTAYA Airways is confident in its enduring aviation capabilities.

The company also plans to expand its fleet by adding three more aircraft between 2026-2028 to meet the growing demand stemming from the continuously booming e-commerce sector. They aspire to be leaders in providing quality air cargo services, connecting businesses across regions and internationally.
