The exclusive MAURICE LACROIX AIKON Automatic 42mm KMCH Limited Edition watch collection achieved unprecedented success at auction, generating vital funds for King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital's future endeavours.

MAURICE LACROIX, the renowned Swiss watch brand, joined forces with King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital to introduce the MAURICE LACROIX AIKON Automatic 42mm KMCH Limited Edition watch, part of the Hospital's commemorative collection. A total of 150 meticulously crafted timepieces were created, with 117 of them being swiftly snapped up prior to the event. The remaining 33 watches took centre stage at the auction held on October 18, 2023, at The Peak, GAYSORN Urban Resort, GAYSORN Village. The primary goal of the auction was to generate funds for the construction of the King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital building, set to open in mid-2024.

The sale of the 33 watch collection amassed an impressive total of 4.251 million baht. Starting at 90,000 baht, the watch bearing the serial number 099/150 fetched the highest bid, reaching an astounding 300,000 baht. This remarkable achievement added 15,000,000 baht to the souvenir collection's proceeds. The record-breaking prices achieved by the MAURICE LACROIX AIKON Automatic 42mm KMCH Limited Edition watches in Thailand's watch market brought pride and honour to all participants in the hospital's fundraising efforts, affirming Dr. Ae Suchatvee Suwansawat's statement that, "This is not only a timepiece on our wrists but also a gift of time to patients."
