Baker McKenzie, recognised as the world's leading law firm with 74 offices in 45 countries, underscores its unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility by pioneering the first-ever "Green Lease" contract in Thailand. They will occupy approximately 10,000 sqm of Office Tower 4 at One Bangkok, conducting their business with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability.
This innovative leasing model represents a significant advancement in office leasing practices, enabling landlords and tenants to collaboratively establish clear sustainability objectives as part of their contractual terms, including guidelines for sustainable practices from design through construction and operations. Both One Bangkok and Baker McKenzie share a vision of reducing environmental impact and striving for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions while fostering a healthy indoor environment for all occupants. In alignment with LEED and WELL certifications, Baker McKenzie is committed to designing energy-efficient office spaces, reducing landfill waste, and selecting environmentally-friendly decorative materials.
