"Pattaya City" is set to make history by hosting the prestigious 'Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2023' under the theme 'The Rhythm of the Night.' This groundbreaking event marks the first-ever free concert of the legendary jazz maestro, Kenny G, in Thailand. Notably, the stage will come alive with performances by talented Thai jazz artists. The festival is a key part to establish Pattaya as "The City of Music and Arts" on the global stage. Mark your calendars for this exceptional event, happening on November 10-11, right on the picturesque Pattaya Beach in Chonburi province.

Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, the Mayor of Pattaya City, has announced that Pattaya will proudly host the “Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2023.” This spectacular event, themed "The Rhythm of the Night," is scheduled to take place from 5 pm to 11 pm on November 10-11, 2023, right along the pristine beach in central Pattaya, Chonburi province. The festival has a grand mission – to redefine Pattaya as “The City of Music and Arts" and cement its status as a significant annual event on Thailand's tourism calendar. The overarching goal is to position Pattaya and Thailand as premier global travel destinations.

The “Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2023,” themed "The Rhythm of the Night," invites jazz enthusiasts to an unforgettable experience on the picturesque Pattaya beach. Amidst the enchanting jazz melodies, festival-goers will have the unique opportunity to witness the legendary American jazz artist, Kenny G, master of the smooth saxophone. He's celebrated for his groundbreaking contributions to global jazz music, boasting record sales that top the charts worldwide and numerous accolades, including American Music Awards and Grammy Awards. Prepare to be serenaded as Kenny G graces the stage for a two-hour jazz concert right on Pattaya Beach.

Moreover, an array of exceptionally talented musicians will be partaking in this grand event, featuring the extraordinary collaboration of international jazz ensemble "THE FIREFLY FELLOWSHIP." This ensemble comprises Frank Rovillstone, a Moscow-born jazz vocalist; Willard Dyson, a New York-based jazz drummer; Pamai, a guitarist currently pursuing a jazz doctorate at Mahidol University; Nattawut Sridech, a highly skilled bassist known for collaborations with notable Thai artists like Singto Numchok and D Gerrard; Watchara Atchariyavaranon, a versatile trumpeter specialising in dance music and engaged in various genres, from Pop and Jazz to Reggae-Ska and Salsa-Latin. In addition, a line-up of artists from the Melodic Corner label, led by

PAE SAX (Pei-Phaisit Khamklan), a prominent saxophonist in Thailand, will grace the stage. The event will also feature performances by NATT BUNTITA, Oil JIRA, PAMAI & DUCK CLUB, and NOP PONCHAMNI AND THE GROOVETOMATIX BAND, a group led by Nop Ponchamni along with 11 musical companions. Following these exceptional performances, ETC and INFINITY, both representing the fusion jazz genre, will take the stage. TAMI JONES ANDREWS, Wannayos Mitranont, and the new generation of jazz artists, are poised to enchant the shores of Pattaya with their vibrant jazz music. To complement the jazz experience, indulge in delectable local dishes from Pattaya and nearby eateries, making the festival an all-encompassing treat for the senses.

Ms. Somradee Chitchong, Deputy Governor for Domestic Marketing, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), has revealed that TAT's plan to enhance the Visit Thailand Year campaign focuses on creating meaningful travel experiences. This plan is encapsulated within the concept of 'Amazing 5F and more,' highlighting Thailand's soft power in Food, Film, Fashion, Fight, and Festival. The Pattaya International Jazz Festival plays a pivotal role in promoting this soft power and cultivating a positive image for Thai tourism, contributing to the strategy of stimulating the national economy through tourism.
