Commemorating its 5th anniversary, ICONSIAM is hosting the "ICONSIAM Unrivalled World of Bangkok Illumination 2023," from today until January 5, 2024, at River Park, G Floor, ICONSIAM. This year's highlight is a 20-meter-high Christmas tree adorning the riverbank. It captivates onlookers with its Thai-patterned light decorations, intertwining traditional Thai motifs with seasonal themes. Moreover, the tree is adorned with multi-coloured lights, all powered by solar energy, emphasising ICONSIAM's status as a global icon on the Chao Phraya River, a prime destination for global travellers.
The event is part of the "Vijit Chao Phraya 2023" initiative, aimed at creating a mesmerising light display along the Chao Phraya River in December 2023. Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and in partnership with various public and private entities, this event showcases the cultural diversity along the river's enchanting course, featuring iconic landmarks like Wat Arun and other significant attractions for tourists.
