Jirayut Srupsrisopa, the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings Company Limited, known as "Bitkub Group," a leading blockchain technology startup in Thailand's digital asset market, was a distinguished speaker at the 2023 "Meeting of Thai Ambassadors and Consuls-General." The event took place on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the Sukhumvit Grand Ballroom, 3rd floor, JW Marriott Hotel, Bangkok. Jirayut spoke on the topic "Digital Economy, Technology, Innovation, and Promotion of Thai Startups and SMEs in Expanding Business Abroad."
This meeting, held for the first time in seven years from November 19 to 24, 2023, aimed to update ambassadors and consuls-general on government policies focusing on tangible foreign operations in the new era. It aimed to address the nation's interests and enhance the well-being of its people through "Proactive Economic Diplomacy."
The event drew participation from 97 ambassadors, consuls-general, charge d'affaires, and acting consuls-general representing 65 embassies, 28 consulates general, 3 Permanent Missions of Thailand to the United Nations and ASEAN, and the Thai Trade and Economic Office. Also in attendance were the Permanent Representatives of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, along with directors from 59 overseas trade promotion offices under the Ministry of Commerce.
