The criteria for the portfolio centre on three factors: a unique design style, individual inspiration, and sustainable development concepts. Designed to serve as a masterpiece by Vaslab Studio, the winner of numerous design awards both nationally and internationally, MASON was inspired by the ancient stone carvers and the masonry culture of Ang Sila, a community just outside Pattaya naturally blessed with unique stones.
From this inspiration, the architecture of MASON was crafted to give the luxury pool villa resort an ultra-modern style on its peaceful private beach, far from the hustle and bustle while still conveniently within driving distance to both Pattaya and Bangkok. MASON stands on a stretch of Na Jomtien beach, just 15 minutes to central Pattaya and 2 hours to Suvarnabhumi Airport, and is also a quick 30 minutes to U-Tapao Airport.

This year, MASON proudly accepted the “MASON Spa: Best Unique Experience Spa in Asia” award from the 2023 World Luxury Spa Awards, as well as the “Ultra Luxury Design Hotel Award” from Lifestyle + Travel Awards 2023, affirming it as a truly WORLD ULTRA LUXURY accommodation.

MASON is a collection of 35 large-format pool villas located on a private stretch of beach. The resort’s Beachfront Grand Pool Villas provide 168 sqm. of living space and are set right along the coast, offering a direct sea view. One level above them are the Beachside Seaview Pool Villas, which also feature 168 sqm. of living space. For guests looking for distinct spaces, the resort’s Duplex Grand Pool Villas divide their bedrooms and living rooms between two levels with a combined 154 sqm. in living space. Large families will enjoy Double Grand Pool Villas, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, and 1-living room accommodations with up to 180 sqm. in living space, where each bedroom has its view of the ocean. Finally, Garden Pool Villas measuring 90 sqm. boast peace and privacy in a stunning tropical setting.
Restaurant and bar options at MASON begin with Krok-A-Café Espresso and Bar. Located on the resort’s rooftop, the stylish venue serves up refreshing drinks that pair wonderfully with the Sky Pool, an infinity pool with a sprawling view of the horizon where guests can feel as if they are swimming in the endless sea, as well as with its relaxing poolside space, perfect for enjoying a good book while watching the sun set.
Zila Street Bistro & Bar is all about fresh seafood presented through a contemporary Thai menu. All of the restaurant’s dishes are made using the finest materials, selected from both domestic and international sources, and can be indulged both within its exquisite ambiance or al fresco amidst sea breezes. Beachside Bar extends from the resort’s private beach for an incomparable way to view the sea. Welcoming guests in the late afternoon, the bar serves classic drinks as well as its signature cocktails. Just as the sun sets behind the horizon, Beachside Bar becomes wonderfully romantic, a place to listen to the waves as they twinkle with the last light of the day.
For an extra special time, MASON Spa blends Western and Eastern massage traditions into amazingly relaxing experiences. The Signature MASON ZILA Massage uses the unique properties of stones only found in Ang Sila, combining them with massage techniques exclusively designed for MASON.
“MASON Secret Garden,” the resort’s first and only organic vegetable garden, was created in extension of its support for environmental responsibility and conservation tourism. The garden is intended to serve as a milestone for the resort’s environmentalism and sustainability, starting within the organisation and its staff and radiating out to the local community to inspire everyone to take part in positive creation through conservation travel. From an empty space, the garden is now a green zone of organic vegetables.
