Bitkub World Tech and EEC Join Forces for Digital Transformation

Bitkub World Tech, in collaboration with the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to drive digital technology adoption in the Eastern Economic Corridor, boosting competitiveness and contributing to Thailand's economic growth.

Bitkub World Tech Company Limited, in collaboration with the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO), recently marked a significant milestone with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at advancing digital technology within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The partnership seeks to foster digital transformation initiatives, empowering entrepreneurs and businesses to gain a competitive edge and contribute to Thailand's economic growth. The MOU signing ceremony, attended by key figures including Jirayut Srupsrisopa, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings Company Limited; Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General of EECO; Wichai Thongtaeng, Co-Founder of Bitkub World Tech Company Limited; Sakolkorn Sakavee, Chairman of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings Company Limited; and Kokit Danchaiwijit, Deputy Secretary-General of EECO, took place at the EECO Office, NT Tower, Bangkok, on November 30, 2023.

Mr. Jirayut emphasised, "Digital transformation is pivotal for businesses to remain competitive in today's rapidly evolving market landscape. With expectations of significant economic growth in Thailand, especially within the EEC, in 2024, this collaboration becomes paramount. The EEC holds strategic importance for the government and offers immense potential to attract investment from both Thai and foreign stakeholders. Our partnership aims to elevate trade and investment within the region, bolster the economy in the coming year, enhance the international competitiveness of local talent, and draw investors to the EEC."

Mr. Chula Sukmanop added, "Through this MOU with Bitkub World Tech, EECO has established a crucial alliance with the private sector, leveraging their expertise in advanced technology and digital transformation. This collaboration centres on three key areas. Firstly, it focuses on the development of the highly popular e-sport industry, particularly within the business centre and new smart city projects, fostering international competition and attracting investment to the sports and e-sport sectors. Secondly, it seeks to cultivate an investment-friendly ecosystem for startups, creating a future business cluster. Lastly, the partnership supports the dissemination of digital knowledge among local business operators. EEC is poised to become a future-forward hub, continually attracting digital investments."

Mr. Wichai commented, "Bitkub World Tech is dedicated to empowering the Thai population with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their quality of life through technology. This collaboration presents a significant opportunity for us to leverage our expertise in blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and e-sport to assist businesses and implement digital infrastructure systems in the EEC, thereby fostering further economic expansion."
