IRPC Awarded for Support in Prosthesis Initiative

IRPC receives royal accolades for donating to prosthetics, improving lives.

IRPC was honoured with a plaque and a commemorative pin for its charitable efforts in the Prosthesis Project, recognized for donating 11,000 sheets of innovative plastic pellets, Polimaxx PP Copolymer 3340H, to the Prosthesis Foundation. This contribution aids in manufacturing prosthetic legs at no cost for those in need.

IRPC Public Company Limited, represented by Anucha Somjitchob, Vice President of the IRPC Innovation Centre, received the prestigious plaque from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Honorary President of the Prosthesis Foundation, at the Princess Srinagarindra Boromarajonani event. The commemorative pin was also awarded to IRPC staff who supported the Prosthesis Foundation's cause, including Kulchart Dangukote, Senior Engineer in the Research and Development of Materials and Chemicals Department; Apirat Chaitanarit, Researcher in the same department; Charan Khongkaem, Senior Officer in the Administration Office; and Sunee Tuansilkit, Officer in the Administration Office, at the Prosthesis Foundation in Don Kaeo, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai.

The partnership between IRPC and the Prosthesis Foundation began in 2011. Since then, IRPC's donation of Polypropylene has contributed to the creation of over 39,572 prosthetic legs for amputees, significantly improving and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
