Under the leadership of Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President & CEO, PTT has seen its brand value surge to over USD 8 billion, climbing 78 spots to rank 267th this year.
This remarkable leap reflects PTT’s comprehensive operational excellence and is a testament to the organisation's strategic agility in navigating through the complexities of the Oil & Gas sector, as outlined by Mr. Alex Haigh, Managing Director – Asia Pacific of Brand Finance. The sector has been under significant strain from geopolitical uncertainties, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic challenges, including inflation. Yet, PTT managed to secure a Brand Strength Index score of 82/100, showcasing a robust 25% growth in brand value to USD 8.3 billion. This growth is attributed to PTT’s diversified strategies, notably its investments in digital capital markets and expansion into renewable energy ventures.
Mr. Rerkpiboon takes pride in PTT’s unique position as the sole Thai brand on this global platform, emphasising the organisation’s commitment to its “Future Energy and Beyond” strategy, which aligns with its social and environmental responsibilities.
