ICONSIAM Bustling with Thai and Foreign Tourists at the River Park Area

Visitors can play Songkran until the 21st of April

'THE ICONIC SONGKRAN FESTIVAL 2024' at ICONSIAM is a world-class festival that has been going on for 5 days straight, filled with joy and excitement. Every day, Thai and foreign tourists from all over the world join in to play the water splashing activity and enjoy various cultural performances and entertainment.

For the previous five days, around 150,000 visitors per day, both Thai and international tourists, joined in to play the Songkran festival at ICONISIAM. This is regarded as a successful event, with the goal of elevating it to a world-class celebration in order to preserve the Songkran tradition and promote important culture while also showcasing Thai identity to the world.

On April 15th , the atmosphere is filled with families and tourists from around the world participating, watching performances, and playing Songkran throughout the entire area, both in the River Park and within the shopping center continuously throughout the day. ICONSIAM has prepared a Water Splash Landmark for people to enjoy splashing water and has also separated water playing zones for children and families for the safety of the younger participants.

Additionally, ICONSIAM has organized numerous activities throughout the day, including Thai cultural performances, workshops, shopping opportunities at the Charoen Nakhon Hall. Visitors at SOOKSIAM can also enjoy the refreshing and delightful water play under a 20-meter long water dome along with musical performances, which creates smiles and laughter among tourists.

At the same time, tourists gather to witness the Songkran procession, where today, they will encounter the Songkran Mahothorndevi Parade featuring the well-known actress Mai Davika, as well as a mini-concert by the artist BUS with the song Because of You I Shine, creating an atmosphere filled with happiness and fun amidst the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
