PORCELA continues to promote the widespread use of innovative tiles after experiencing a positive market response from consumers, including architects, contractors, real estate developers, and general users. This response has led to significant growth in the sales of eco-friendly tiles under the PORCELA brand.

Ruampat Ceramic Co., Ltd, the producer and distributor of PORCELA, specializes in the production and importation of various high-quality tiles with different colours and patterns, as well as vinyl tiles and other related products. These products accommodate the demands of all styles of housing construction, living accommodations, and other types of developments requiring products for floor and wall covering, both for internal and external decorations.

Miss Panjama Laowiwatwong, Managing Director of Ruampat Ceramic Co., Ltd, revealed that PORCELA’s sales of eco-friendly and innovative tiles at the Architect Expo 2024 rose by more than 10%, exceeding the market average growth of 6% for this segment. This result clearly reflects a pivotal rising trend towards environmentally friendly and sustainable development, aligning with the company’s business direction under the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) concept, which prioritises sustainability.

The popular eco-friendly and innovative tiles at the Architect Expo 2024 spanned various segments, including anti-slip tiles, anti-bacterial tiles, energy-saving tiles, and tiles made from natural material substitutes. Other popular tiles at the event included granito tiles, ceramic tiles, mosaic tiles, swimming pool tiles, and vinyl tiles. However, in terms of growth, the eco-friendly tiles saw significantly higher growth.

Miss Panjama stated that the market response at the Architect Expo 2024, the largest international event in ASEAN exhibiting architectural technologies and construction materials, stimulated the market worth over 20 billion baht. This demonstrated positive inroads into the market for eco-friendly and innovative tiles, encouraging PORCELA to further upgrade its production and importation of quality products. The company aims to offer a wider range of products to meet the diverse demands of modern consumers. It envisions transforming dwellings in Thailand to use eco-friendly and innovative tiles as the standard. Increased use of these tiles will not only improve people's quality of life but also contribute to better care for the earth and the environment.
