There are only a few weeks left until the grand event of the year in Buriram province, the celebration in honour of Commemorating the Sixth-Cycle (72nd) Birthday Anniversary Of His Majesty King. Another major highlight of the event is the musical performance titled "The Breath of the Land." All parties involved, especially the students from Buriram Province, have dedicated themselves and practised hard for more than two months to express their gratitude for His Majesty's great kindness and demonstrate their loyalty.
The latest team of young musical actors travelled from Buriram Province to HOSTBKK Arts Centre / Dance Studio on the 4th floor of the Chandrphen Restaurant Building in Bangkok for a final rehearsal in collaboration with the team of singers Miss Yanisa Chomchoei, also known as 'Nong Cake,' a rising artist from the Chingcha Sawan singing competition, and Miss Kantheera Songprakhon, also known as Khaofang, an artist from The Voice Thailand Season 6, who will sing the Sansoen Phra Barami (Royal Anthem) at the event. They have been advised and supervised during rehearsals by Mr Piyapol Wongprasit (Kru Pey Pey) from Prakhonchai Pittayakhom School.
The Breath of the Land event will be held from 28-30 July 2024, starting at 6:00 PM at Chang Arena Stadium in Buriram province. The event will feature grand performances using world-class staging technology, including a dazzling 3D mapping light and sound show, an orchestra performance, a musical, an exhibition of award-winning paintings of His Majesty the King's royal projects, and various public welfare activities dedicated to His Majesty the King. These activities include blood donation, community service to provide breath to patients (720 units per day for a total of 7,200 units), and a food and beverage sharing kitchen, where Buriram residents and famous shops will provide food and drinks to attendees. Admission is free!
