Launched in the middle of September, this new boutique resort is a member of SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World). With a modern design that makes the most of its natural surroundings, be it the sunshine or sea breeze, this place is another commendable holiday haven in this part of the sandy coastline that runs from Cha-am to Hua Hin. The property is made up of 97 guest rooms and pool villas, ranging in sizes from 46m² to 107m².
Painted in grey and white, this seven-storey building houses 54 rooms. Each room has a small balcony and is furnished with light-brown built-in wooden furniture. The usage space for each room is 43m².
Launched in October, this new hotel in the Onyx Hospitality Group, which also runs Amari Pattaya next door, offers modish and convenient accommodation that is also good bang for the buck. The property has 406 rooms. The Dream rooms on the west side of the 18-storey building, like the one I stayed in, come with a sea view. I recommend you pay a little more for one of these rooms rather than the Sleep rooms on the city-view side.
Situated on a 1,300 rai plot of land on the fringes of Khao Yai National Park, this property was added to the portfolio of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts last month after being rebranded from My Ozone Khao Yai.
When tourism in Chiang Khan started to bloom about a decade ago, the first-ever Ban Rabiang Khong was opened. Today, the hotel has three properties operating under the same name but located in different places on Chai Khong Road. I spent a night in the newest building which opened two years ago.
This property in Central Pattaya is one of five Sukosol hotels, three of which are in the resort city and the other two in Bangkok. It has 260 rooms and suites.
Located on a 28 rai plot of land on the long sandy Phra Ae beach, the property offers 45 units including raised-floor wooden bungalows in the Garden Zone and villas in the Beachfront Zone. The villas in the beach zone look newer and are closer to the resort's facilities.
Formerly known as Imperial Boat House, this property on the northeastern side of the island underwent a major renovation and relaunched in January this year.
Just recently opened on Oct 1, this new 4-star hotel is the first from Best Western Plus in Pattaya, targeting business and leisure travellers. The property offers 164 spacious Deluxe rooms and Suites, ranging in sizes from 30m² to 47m² for a pleasant stay.
