Where is the best place in Bangkok to take pictures of sunrise? Of course, that's a tough question for quite a few reasons. Anyway, how about the Mahanakhon Skywalk, as a candidate?

Normally, the city's highest observation deck, which is located on the 78th floor of the King Power Mahanakhon Building on Narathiwat Road, is open from 10am to midnight. But on Saturday, Sept 19, photographers will get the chance to go up the Skywalk hours earlier, from 5-8am, to shoot the Sun rising over Bangkok.

A special pass is needed for the one-day event, which is dubbed "Mahanakhon Cityscapes". Priced at 1,999 baht per person, it is inclusive of not just the morning session but also another one, from 5-8pm, for sunset.

A breakfast box will be provided to each photographer during the morning session, and a sunset drink for the evening photo shoot. Each pass also entitles the holder to bring one tripod. Every additional tripod will be charged 1,200 baht extra.

Tickets are available now at eventpop.me/e/9578/mahanakhon-cityscapes. For inquiries, visit the King Power Mahanakhon page on Facebook or call 02-677-8721.
