Cycling on silk

The Engineering Faculty of Khon Kaen University has introduced what it said were the world's first two "silk bicycles" - featuring light and much cheaper frames made from silk resin. It said the invention is far superior to aluminium frames and costs only 15,000-20,000 baht...compared with 40,000-100,000 baht for a carbon fibre frame. (Video by Chakkrapan Natanri)
