Magnitude 6.2 quake strikes off Indonesian island of Sumatra

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck southwest of the Indonesian city of Sibolga on the island of Sumatra on Monday, the US Geological Survey said. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

There was also no tsunami warning from the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center immediately after the quake.
