To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, Central Pattana Plc has launched the "2022 Power of the Great Tiger" campaign at Central malls nationwide. The campaign will be held from Jan 17 to Feb 16 at every Central shopping centre throughout the country.

The campaign combines art and science by collaborating with famous fortune teller Tossapol Sritula -- known as Mor Chang -- and world-renowned artist Phannapast "Yoon" Taychamaythakool to create five powerful tigers in order to generate auspicious energy in five areas: power, love, success, health and wealth.

Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Central Pattana's executive vice-president of marketing, said: "As this Chinese New Year coincides with Central Pattana's 40th anniversary, we want to provide a special experience in order to pass on positivity and express our gratitude."

Mr Nattakit revealed that the retail conglomerate is spending 200 million baht to create Chinese New Year landmarks in a new style, particularly by combining digital lifestyles with art exhibitions, which is the current global trend.

Visitors can enjoy various auspicious activities to boost their good luck at Central shopping malls.

In particular, CentralWorld will be the centre of energy of the "Five Tiger Rangers" in the heart of Bangkok and home to "Love Tiger Ranger", where visitors can take photos in order to receive the power of love. It will also host the "Tunnel of Success" to grant progress, and the "Diverse Patterns, Diverse Lives by Sirisinlapin" art exhibition. In addition, it will offer the "Interactive Experience Powered by Huawei" which blends art with the Chinese telecom company's cutting-edge technology. There will also be the spectacular "Biggest Dragon Show on panOramix" on the largest LED screen in front of the shopping centre.

Meanwhile, at Central Korat visitors can marvel at paintings by Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana and can worship a century-old Guanyin statue made from teak wood.

Other activities and events include the Chinese Market, where visitors can find auspicious dishes from legendary restaurants; the Chinese Kad Market, which is a venue for over 10,000 auspicious and lucky items; the auspicious giant tiger lantern festival; Thailand's longest fire-breathing dragon show; gaming exhibitions; and digital fortune telling.
