Nichkhun "Buck" Horvejkul is a pioneer for Thai singers in the K-pop industry. He has been a member of the boy band 2PM since 2008. While many members of his band fulfil military service, the singer has been busy with solo activities.

Among them is the upcoming concert in his hometown. A collaboration between Thailand's A Chi Activation and Chan Activation and South Korea's JYP Entertainment Corp, the concert "Nichkhun Solo Concert 'Home' In Bangkok With Dr. Jill" will take place at Chaengwattana Hall, Centralplaza Chaengwattana on July 27 at 6pm. The singer, who usually plays piano or keyboard onstage, will show off his guitar skills at the performance.

This upcoming solo concert is preceded by successful shows in Seoul and Tokyo.

Nichkhun, 31, was recently invited as a guest actor in the star-studded fantasy TV show Arthdal Chronicles, streaming on Netflix. The artist also has been a co-host of the music show We K-Pop aired on KBS World.

As a singer, he released the nine-track album Me, in which he penned the music and lyrics. Unlike 2PM albums, which focus on electronic dance music, most of the songs on Me are easy-listening. Eight tracks of the album were written in English. The other song, Umbrella, is a sequence of the 2013 English song Let It Rain in which Nichkhun expresses his gratitude to his fans, who always guard him. Umbrella aims to tell fans that he will protect them in return. To please his main fan bases in different countries, Umbrella was written in five languages -- Thai, English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.

Tickets to Nichkhun Solo Concert cost 2,000, 3,500 and 5,000 baht, now available at ticket.achi.co.th.
