Homeshake (March 2)

One year since his last visit, Montreal indie pop songwriter and musician Peter Sagar, better known as Homeshake, is set to return for a second live show in town tomorrow night as part of his Asia tour, including Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul, Jakarta and Bangkok.

Best known as Mac DeMarco's former touring guitarist, Peter Sagar formed his new musical project Homeshake back in 2012 with distinctly styled lo-fi bedroom pop music with unique rhythmic fluctuation and loose singing that blend his influences of jazz, soul, funk and R&B. He is best known for a number of catchy tracks including Every Single Thing, Khmlwugh, Making A Fool Of You, Love Is Only A Feeling and many more.

Thai fans can expect to hear Homeshake perform some of the brand-new songs off his recent release Helium on this very night. The band will also be joined by local act Soft Pine.

HAVE YOU HEARD?: Homeshake Live! + Soft Pine takes place at De Commune (Liberty Plaza), Thong Lor from 8pm. Tickets are 900 baht at the door, or at Ticketmelon.com.

Cat Foodival 5 (March 7)

Music and food go hand-in-hand. Music brings the mood and food brings the flavour. So it makes sense to celebrate them both together. Cat Foodival, the famous food and music festival by popular indie radio station Cat Radio, is back with its fifth instalment this Saturday at Live Park, Rama IX.
