Art enthusiasts and collectors will be pleased to experience various forms of art such as photography, performance, drawing, painting and sculpture as well as product design and craft at "Mango Art Festival", which will be held at Lhong 1919 starting tomorrow until April 6. The festival is divided into five sections -- Bowen Hall, Wharf Hall, Chinese Mansion, Art/Craft & Handmade Accessories and Performance Art.

Bowen Hall showcases artworks from both local and international galleries such as Palette Artspace, Vilendorf Studio, Sathorn 11 Artspace, G13 Gallery from Malaysia, The Drawing Room from the Philippines and Clear Gallery Tokyo from Japan. "Mango Art Talk" is another highlight at Bowen Hall. On April 4 at 2pm, there will be the discussion "Are We Seeing The Beginnings Of A Young Thai Artist Movement" moderated by David Robinson. On April 6 at 2pm, Jorn Middelborg from Thavibu Art Advisory will talk about "Myanmar Political Art".

Wharf Hall is a design zone where visitors have the chance to see aesthetic products and brand designs such as furniture brand Amoarte, the mosaics and bespoke surface coverings of Sonite and handmade craft with contemporary design Kitt.ta.khon.

Chinese Mansion displays artwork from independent artists. Visitors should especially not miss out the drawings of National Artist Nithi Sthapitanond.

Art/Craft & Handmade Accessories is a great zone for shoppers who appreciate handmade products.

Performance Art includes a performance by the contemporary dance artist Pavida Wachirapanyaporn.
