This week, there are two K-pop updates from SM True. First, Exo returns with another album, Exist, and Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation will have a solo concert in Bangkok.
Exo’s Exist
Despite debuting in 2012, the popularity of K-pop sensation, Exo, has never faded. Their seventh studio album, Exist, has sold over 1.6 million albums in pre-orders.
Their latest music video, Cream Soda, is a catchy pop dance song that incorporates unique rhythms, brass elements and a fun beat. The lyrics of the song compare the feeling of falling in love to the sweet and fizzy tastes of cream soda. In the music video, members of Exo appear in a private party. They dress up in elegant outfits while showcasing sexy dance routines.
Exist features nine songs that cover various genres. The album also includes the pop R&B track Regret It in which the rapper Chanyeol showcases his songwriting skills. The lyrics ask his crush not to make him regret falling for her.
The Odd Of Love
The leader of Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon is known as a “vocal queen” due to her superb singing ability. As a solo artist, she has showcased unique musical styles and captivated fans heart with every release, including her latest album, INVU. Taeyeon’s popularity in Thailand has remained unwavering for decades. She was the first Korean female solo artist to hold a solo concert in Thailand, performing two shows at Impact Arena. Thai fans will have the opportunity to experience her incredible talent in person at “Taeyeon Concert - The Odd Of Love” on Aug 12 to 13 at Impact Arena.
