Joji to headline 'Very Festival 2023'

Joji, the artist formerly known as Pink Guy and Filthy Frank, has been confirmed to return to Bangkok to headline the second date of "Very Festival 2023", which has moved to the centrally-located Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC).

The two-day annual music festival is scheduled to take place on Nov 25-26 and will be inside the Ballroom Hall of QSNCC (Thank Buddha!). Although the complete line-up hasn't been revealed, the confirmed acts will surely excite music fans.

Prep, 92914, Slchld, Blackbeans and Johhny Orlando will headline the first day, while Joji, who is the biggest name in the current line-up, will headline the second day along with Bloc Party, Last Dinosaurs, Charlie Burg and H 3 F. Joji also included Very Festival as part of his Pandemonium World Tour in an announcement he made in August but there won't be a special guest to open for him. According to Very Festival, his upcoming show will be a full setlist which lasts about 80 minutes.

It'll be the third performance by the elusive Joji in Thailand, following his debut as part of "88Rising Live In Bangkok" in 2017 and his first solo show for the Smithereens Tour in December last year.

Joji had a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in May and announced "Pandemonium 2023 Fall North American Tour" with dates from August to November. His magnum opus Slow Dancing In The Dark has 1.12 billion streams on Spotify while his Glimpse Of Us is only 10 million streams shy of being his second track in the billion-stream club.

If you felt shortchanged because he didn't perform Die For You the last time, your wish may come true in November since the song seems to be a staple now, judging from his recent set lists. He has also added several songs to his live performances, too. Joji also included Very Festival as part of his Pandemonium World Tour in an announcement he made in August but there won't be a special guest to open for him. According to Very Festival, his upcoming show will be a full setlist, which lasts about 80 minutes.

There are one-day and two-day passes available for Very Festival 2023. One-day passes are priced at B2,900 per person and available in limited amounts while two-day passes cost B5,600. Prices will go up soon. Get yours at ticketmelon.com/very/veryfest2023.
