The Mhorya Tha Sooksiam: The Wondrous World Of Thai Herbs festival returns to Iconsiam for its second edition from tomorrow until July 15 to boost Thais' immunity.

Located on the ground floor, the Lan Mueng 1 and 2 in Sook Siam zone will be turned into a herb market, home to the Karaboon pop-up store with a wide range of innovative products like silver nano bioactive disinfectant spray extracted from finger roots, andrographis extract capsule (a household remedy for common flu, fever and sore throat), and Jicama serum.

"We aim to help develop local wisdom, share Thai herbs with the world, and elevate top-quality Thai products to the international market. Now, herbs have become important ingredients in producing cosmetics, food, supplements and medicine. With such benefits, the herb industry is constantly rocketing," said Luckana Naviroj, project chairman of Sook Siam at Iconsiam.

"With health consciousness, people are using herbs in their alternative health care. The Covid-19 outbreak also boosts the herb market, as people turn to local wisdom to strengthen their immune system. Visitors can enjoy several activities like a workshop on how to make homemade herbal products. This event will also help spur the local economy in this crucial time. Despite strict health preventative measures, we assure that visitors can relax and stay safe in Sook Siam."

During the day, visitors can check out the Seven Days, Seven Wonders Of Thai Herbs activities like astrology and health that is a multidisciplinary approach, combining ancient magic, horoscope, pathology and zodiac signs in reading fortunes and healing people with Thai traditional medicine, based on the Brahma Jāti prophecy book.
