Bangkok gets official Koenigsegg importer

The partnership between Koenigsegg Automotive and General Auto Supply, an affiliate of Sharich Holding, has established Koenigsegg Bangkok as the authorised importer and dealer for the Swedish hypercars in Thailand.

Two models, the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut and Koenigsegg Gemera, were unveiled at an event held recently at Park Hyatt Bangkok's ballroom.

General Auto Supply CEO Apichat Leenutaphong and director Sak Nana introduced the Ängelholm-based company, founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg.

Over the years, the Swedish brand has patented many new technologies.

The Jesko Absolut is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, connected to the Koenigsegg-developed and produced nine-speed Light Speed Transmission system that enables gear changing in virtually zero time.

The four-seat Gemera is the world's first Mega-GT, whose features include onboard internet and Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, front and rear seat central infotainment displays as well as wireless phone chargers, to meet the on-the-road digital lifestyle.
