Charlotte Tilbury MBE need look no further than her mother Patsy as her beauty role model.
"I've never seen her without perfectly-painted nails and her signature red lip. I used to watch her applying her ruby-red lipstick and she would tell me as she put it on: lipstick is instant glamour and it will take you anywhere," said Tilbury.
According to her own definition: "Lipstick is happiness in a tube!" That sense of happiness can be discovered at The Lip Bar, within the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty counter and pop-up at Paragon and The Emporium department stores in Bangkok.
In partnership with The Mall Group, the celebrated British make-up artist launched her eponymous brand in Thailand last October.
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty was established in 2013, when she set out to make women feel beautiful, safe and empowered by her make-up and skincare products.
"I wanted to bottle my beauty secrets from years of working with celebrities and stars on the red carpets and runways and share them with the world. I truly believe that make-up is so much more than superficial -- it has the power to change your mood, frequency and destiny," she said.
As wearing make-up can promote positive energy, lipsticks in three auspicious shades have been released to celebrate the Lunar New Year, which begins on Friday.

Housed in lucky red tubes, Matte Revolution in Rose Wish is a muted, matte brick red, inspired by the queen of flowers, while Lucky Cherry is a bright red, related to luck, love and passion.
Moisturising K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Sweet Blossom is a rusty rose, inspired by blossoms that symbolise renewal and femininity.
"I studied the colour of happy, youthful lips and symbols of luck and love to bring you the three universally-flattering, nuanced red lipstick shades," she said. "Everyone needs the perfect shades to add warmth, happiness and just-kissed colour to the complexion."
The key ingredient is an extract from achiote, a small tree with bright red seeds.
Originating in the Americas, this plant has many uses, such as for colouring in cooking and formulating cosmetics, the latter is how it got the name, the lipstick tree.

Enriched with orchid extract, the Matte Revolution formula features glowing pigments that create an illusion of lit-from-within lips.
The moisturising K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick differs with pigments that capture light across your lips and reflect it back out for a luminous effect.
