The dial of the white gold Limelight Gala High Jewellery Black Opal is made from this extraordinary stone, whose colours harmonise with marquise-cut emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds that outline the bezel, lugs and bracelet. The high jewellery watch is powered by a Piaget manufacture quartz movement.

The more stones the merrier and coloured sapphires in red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo and violet, along with green tsavorites adorn the 32mm rose gold Limelight Gala Precious Rainbow, equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement.
Sourcing progressively-sized gemstones with the exact colours, carat, cut and clarity was a painstaking task for Piaget's gemmologists. As a challenge, gemsetters created a rainbow setting and used the "Sertie Descendu" technique to ensure the best colour and size transition of one gemstone to the next, magnifying their brilliance.

Besides these three new models, the Swiss brand has launched 32mm automatic watches under a trilogy that follows the course of the Sun throughout the day.
The morning sky, the Sun at its zenith and the setting Sun inspire the three variations with a flowing gradient of coloured sapphires and diamonds that start in intense hues around the bezel and gently lighten as they reach the tips of the lugs.
Finding the exact shade and size of the sapphires was an art in itself as Piaget's gemmologists sifted through countless stones to be able to create a seamless swirl of colour with the perfect transition from gemstone to gemstone.
