The Tourism Authority of Thailand is accepting entries for the "Travel Content Contest" for travel enthusiasts of all ages to produce content that promotes tourism within the country.

A collaboration with Silpakorn University, the contest is open to anyone to either submit a set of five photographs (each not exceeding 2MB in size) or a video clip lasting no more than 60 seconds that portrays the beauty of any tourist attraction.

The destinations can be in any of the following three categories -- art and cultural attractions, royally-initiated projects, and nature and adventure attractions. Each entry must come with a description of no more than 100 words telling "a good travel story that needs to be shared" and the location of that destination. It must also use the hashtag #travelcontentcontest and #AmazingThailand.

Each contestant can submit as many entries as they like by uploading them to their Facebook account and to online application forms. All entries must be original and have been taken or recorded at actual sites and not previously submitted to any other competition or used commercially.

All entries are eligible for Excellent Awards, which is offering nine prizes for photographs and nine more for videos to be judged by a panel of experts. There are also six Popular Awards that will be given to entries with the most likes and shares on Facebook.

The submission deadline is June 15. Visit travelcontentcontest.com.
