More than ever, society plays a role in mental health. The accumulation of stress through work, family and the outside world tightens up muscles in our body as well emotions within our spirit while the daily intake of negative, intense news and information overcomes our traditional methods and channels for releasing stress, and accumulates to become an unbalancing force.

Yet to succeed in a complicated society requires stability and balance to enable us to release stress as we receive it. Our systems of stress management and mental release need an upgrade for the world of 2021.

With the aim to offer simple yet effective methods to train our body and mind to unload such stress, Dujdao Vadhanapakorn, a dance movement psychotherapist, and Amornsri Pattanasaitdanggul, a yoga instructor from Ann Open Yoga, have joined hands to organise the online group workshop series "Yoga And Meaningful Movement For Mental Strength" every Thursday from 5-7pm until Nov 11, via Zoom.

Specifically designed for people who have basic to moderate skills in yoga, each two-hour session offers individual attention, relaxation for your mind and relief for the body as you learn new skills you can use daily.

Today's workshop focuses on "Mind Detoxification And Hatha For Breath". Topics for the next classes include "Self Empowerment And Mindfulness Flow Yoga" on Oct 7; "Energising Flow And Let Go" on Oct 14; "Deep Inspiring Vinyasa For Inner Thoughts" on Oct 21; "Dynamic Yoga For Inner Strength" on Oct 28; "Yin Yoga For Self-Love" on Nov 4; and "Mindfulness Flow Yoga For Self-Empathy" on Nov 11.

It will be conducted in Thai. The fee is 590 baht per class. Registrations can be made via bit.ly/3kIZoPV.
