Registrations open for NRCT panel discussions

The National Research Council of Thailand invites students and interested members of the public to register for a string of seminars, panel discussions and workshops to be held during the "Thailand Inventors' Day 2023" at Bitec Event Hall 100-104, Bang Na-Trat Road, from Feb 2-6.

This year will feature more than 70 interesting topics across five days at two major zones.

Up to 18 topics will be presented at the Main Stage, 1st floor of Hall 101, starting with "Does Thailand Have Innovation?", a special keynote to be delivered by Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Minister Anek Laothamatas on Feb 2 from 9am to noon.

Other topics will be "How Do We Manage The Intellectual Property To Take Thai Inventions And Innovations To The International Market?", "AI: The Driving Force Of The Nation", "Star In The Making: Thai Kids In The Digital World" and "Diving Deep In Technological Advances And How To Create Income Using AI In The Digital World".

More than 60 workshops will be conducted in the lecture rooms on the 2nd floor of Hall 101, with topics including "Inter Invention Talk: Cloth Face Mask And Hiking Hat With Colour Changing Innovations", "Let's Become A TikTok Creator" and "A Little Detective: A Brain Cognitive Function Test With A Computer Programme For Children".

Other highlights will be "Making Dried Flowers In A Microwave Using A Glass Bottle", "The Power Rocket", "Innovation For The Community: DIY Crossbody Bag From Local Fabrics", "Making Coffee Scrub" and "Conserving Traditional Thai Dessert Culture With Functional Food: Kanom Kong Almond".

All seminars and workshops will be open for on-site and online participation, free of charge, but pre-registrations are required.
