Gaysorn transforms into a land of fairy tales

To join the festive celebrations, Gaysorn Village took inspiration from the Roman Saturnalia festival to turn its retail space into a Christmas Village, which transported visitors to the land of fairy tales.

Every corner is decked in five craft master themes -- The Florist, The Perfumer, The Tailor, The Glass Maker and The Baker, all created by talented young artist Pom Jitpratuk to portray the essence of ancient Roman culture. The celebration was made colourful by celebrities, including Salin-Sarisa Lamsam, Piyawadee Maleenont, Jay Spencer, Piyarat Kaljareuk, Chavanon Caisiri, Anchilee Scott-Kemmis and Mawin. Famous artists Vachirawit Chivaaree, Popetorn Soonthornyanakij and Achiraya Nitibhon also took the stage for a special performance.

"We are a lifestyle urban village, and we consider all aspects of people's lifestyles. We want everyone to get an urban lifestyle experience, build relationships and make good use of their time. For the Christmas season, Gaysorn Village is decked out for the holidays in five craft master characters, which represent eclectic personnel to create a festive atmosphere where everyone can congregate and unwind themselves after spending so much time coping with the Covid-19 crisis," said Jirath Vattanapataraset, vice-president of Gaysorn Village.

Visitors could find themselves in a fairy tale thanks to the butterflies carrying pollen to the Butterfly Cave, where artisans showed off their skills to create scented candles to illuminate the beautiful hamlet on Christmas Eve. The light served as the symbol of hope and soul regeneration for next year.
