The interior design combines Piaget's iconic blue and gold decor.

Piaget's Palace Décor becomes larger than life at a new boutique on Siam Paragon's M Floor. A golden panel is textured like the signature engraving that normally graces dials and straps of Piaget's timepieces.

Developed in the 1960s, it was inspired by a guilloche pattern combining irregular streaks with dazzling light effects.

At the Piaget ateliers in Plan-les-Ouates, on the outskirt of Geneva, gold is exalted by its artisans to create silk-like fabrics, meshes and the Palace Décor engraving.

The design of the 70m² Salon Piaget pays homage to the craftsmanship along with using the brand's blue colour for another wall panel, rug and other elements.

Another striking panel at the back of the store celebrates Piaget's use of ornamental stones in watchmaking, with this DNA giving dials beautiful colours.

The Swiss brand is also known for ultra-thin movements, starting from the 9P mechanical hand-wound caliber introduced in 1957 and later the 12P caliber launched in 1960 as the thinnest automatic movement at that time.

The men's watch range now includes various Altiplano Ultimate Automatic and Piaget Polo, while the women's collection includes Possession and Limelight Gala.

In 1959, the first jewellery creations were unveiled at Salon Piaget in Geneva. Today, the collections include Possession, Piaget Sunlight and Piaget Rose as well as high jewellery, of which certain pieces will be on display at the new store.

The concept remains a salon, the French word for living room, to make the boutique a welcoming place to update on the latest collections.

In addition, this year Piaget has repositioned itself as the Maison of Extraleganza! to elevate elegance and extravaganza as a form of art in watch and jewellery making.

The salon concept makes the new boutique a welcoming place.
