Recently, customers picked their favourite items and cast their votes for the Central Beauty Awards, that were launched last year.
Based on the popular vote, winners of the Central Beauty Awards 2023 were announced at House of Event, Central@CentralWorld.
The 16 awards include two new categories, with Hermès Perfume and Beauty recognised as "The Best Rising Star", and L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil Eco-Refill named "The Best Eco-Friendly Beauty Item".
The six best make-up winners include three complexion products -- Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base; Shu Uemura Unlimited Foundation; and Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder.
Iconic products such as Clarins Double Serum, Biotherm Life Plankton Essence and La Mer The Eye Concentrate triumphed in the competitive skincare categories.
Beauty is also about self-expression through scents. Giorgio Armani Si Passione EDP; YSL Libre Le Parfum; and Dior Sauvage EDP were voted the best everyday, occasional and sporty fragrance respectively.
The wide assortment including the best in each category are retailed at Beauty Galerie in Central stores.
The Beauty Galerie celebrates individuality, diversity, self-value and acceptance through "All The Beauties" campaign. Beyond age and gender, eight individuals represent how we can be beautiful in our own way.
Considering waste caused by cosmetics consumption, the retailer initiated "A Journey To Zero: Beauty Reborn" as part of its broader sustainability campaign "Central Love The Earth".
The Beauty Waste Separation Corner was also launched at the Central Beauty Awards 2023 event.
The implementation starts at Central@CentralWorld, where used jars and bottles made of plastic, metal and glass can be dropped off for proper waste management.
Additionally, recycling updates are available through the Central Beauty Club's Facebook and Instagram as well as the ECOLIFE app.
