After sweeping the world as the first K-creature series, Sweet Home is set to return for its second season on Dec 1. In a world where desire turns monstrous, Sweet Home Season 2 follows Green Home survivors and Hyun-su each fighting to survive in new places, while other beings and mysterious phenomena emerge.
South Korean superstar Song Kang returns as Hyun-su, who is being taken to a mysterious location in a cage. Under the scrutiny of a voice claiming to have been waiting for him, Hyun-su determinedly asks what he needs to do. As survivors continue to grapple with the threat of monsterisation, what can Hyun-su do? Is he indeed the saviour who can save everyone from this nightmare?
To craft this unique narrative, which expands from the original webtoon, director Lee Eung-bok consulted with writer Kim Kanbi and had in-depth discussions about the hidden premises in the original and the expanded world-building in the upcoming season. Piquing curiosity about the new stories, director Lee says: "It is going to be a full-fledged apocalyptic drama. While Season 1 portrayed tension and fear in the confined space of the Green Home, Season 2 will be set in an open space with the introduction of a whole new group of characters and monsters."

Actor Lee Jin-uk says: "This season will present a world that diverges from the original webtoon. As the world expands, there will be more to think." Actor Lee Si-young heightens the excitement for how the story will unfold, explaining: "A vastly sprawling world awaits the characters after they leave Green Home. Everyone will go through major changes."
