Only four days left until we kiss goodbye to all things past -- good or bad -- and begin the New Year with a big smile and full of hope. For those looking for fun on the last night of year, many leading shopping malls in Bangkok are preparing a line-up of exciting countdown extravaganzas guaranteed to usher everyone into 2024 in a memorable way, free of charge. Here are some of the highlights.

Designed to be on par with a global-level music festival, the event will feature world-class production from stage and digital fireworks to light and sound. To create a joyful vibe for everyone, many artists will also be presented on CentralWorld's trademark Panoramix interactive digital screen.

The evening will be packed with a line-up of 63 Thai and international artists from all generations.

They include Billkin, PP Krit, Nont Tanont, Ink Waruntorn, Bowkylion, Proxie, Trinity, BUS, Tigger, Alala, Psychic Fever, Bamm, bXd, DVI, Peres, Oat Pramote, Pop Pongkool and Three Man Down.

Then, prepare for the "Futuristic Fireworks" show held under the "Futuristic Future" concept to promote sustainability. It will feature only half the amount of fireworks normally set off in previous countdown events in order to reduce global warming and noise pollution. Instead, more digital fireworks will be presented, with cutting-edge light and sound technology in place to boost your viewing experience.

The show will be broadcast live on Channel 3HD starting at 10.30pm.
