Airports of Thailand (AoT) Plc will on Aug 6 launch a smartphone app to provide travellers with check-in and baggage information, product discounts and hotel and taxi reservation services.
AoT president Nitinai Sirismathakarn said yesterday that users of the AoT Digital Platform app will receive real-time data on flights and relevant services on their smartphones, including suggested routes to avoid traffic jams when travelling to and from airports.
Reservations for parking spaces, passenger lounges and taxis as well as discounts for foods, beverages, services and products at participating airports in other countries will all be available via the app, he said.
