What will Thailand's energy landscape be like in 2050? How will mega-cities, such as Bangkok, handle growing energy demands and mobility challenges in the future? To address these important issues, Shell Thailand is holding Make the Future Thailand at EmQuartier's Quartier Gallery from Jan 19-21, starting at 2pm.

Held to provide an opportunity for visitors to experience aspects of a future world and witness how we can achieve a sustainable future, this exhibition will feature innovations in energy, technology, mobility and futuristic cars, together with the direction of energy-utilisation in 2050 to cope with future energy challenges.

It will include "Thailand's Energy Challenge And Bangkok 2050: Container Of Possibility", the country's first showcase of future technology and innovations for the home; a race car powered by salt water; and the latest 14 Eco-marathon vehicles designed by university students, who will be competing with teams from 18 Asian countries during the Shell Eco-marathon Asia competition to be held in Singapore in March.

There will also be presentations from the Imagine the Future competition by student teams from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Chiang Mai University and Assumption University.

Rounding out the programme on each day will be a mini-concert headlined by popular artists including Naphat "Nine" Siangsomboon on Jan 19, Tim&Kim from The Voice Kids on Jan 20 and BNK48 on Jan 21.

There is no admission fee. Visit www.shell.co.th or www.facebook.com/shell.
