BG Pathum United remained undefeated after rallying for a 1-1 draw at relegation contenders Suphanburi in Thai League 1 on Wednesday night.

Brazilian forward Caion stunned Pathum after 81 minutes only for his compatriot Diogo Luis Santo to equalise three minutes later.

The Rabbits, who won the title with six games to spare earlier this month, will next host Ratchaburi on Saturday and travel to Muang Thong United in their last game of the season on March 28.

Pathum need to avoid defeat in the final two matches for an unbeaten season to match the feat previously achieved by Muang Thong and Buriram United.

While Suphanburi may feel disappointed by their failure to earn three points, the draw was not too bad in their fight against the drop.

Suphanburi, who are third from last, have 24 points, three behind Sukhothai, who have played a game more.

Suphanburi have three games left and Sukhothai two.

With three teams going down to Thai League 2, former powerhouse Chonburi could also be relegated after a 2-0 loss to Samut Prakan at home.

Tardeli Reis opened the scoring for Samut Prakan in the 15th minute and Jaroensak Vongkorn finished off the toothless Sharks in injury time.

Rayong and Trat have been relegated.

Rayong secured their biggest win of the season yesterday when they hammered Police Tero 6-1.

But Ratchaburi and Port failed to score a single goal in their scoreless draw. Port moved up to second, one point ahead of Buriram who host Bangkok United today.

The runners-up and third-placed side earn places in the 2022 AFC Champions League play-offs, while the T1 champions and FA Cup winners reach the group stage.
