Former champions Muang Thong United will be eager to resurrect their campaign when they host BG Pathum United in a Thai League 1 battle Sunday evening.
The Kirins have started the second leg with two straight defeats, losing 4-3 to Port in a thriller in the midweek after going down 2-1 to leaders Bangkok United on Feb 9.
They are now in the 13th place, only one point above the three-team relegation zone.
Muang Thong coach Uthai Boonmoh is expecting a tough battle with Pathum Sunday evening.
"It will be another difficult game for us. We have lost both matches since the start of the second leg," said Uthai.
"We hope to regain form in this home game and I'll be keeping a close eye on our defence because that is where we need a lot of improvement.
"We are desperate now and need to win this game, but Pathum are a strong team. We would have to be at our best."
Pathum United defeated Uthai Thani 2-0 in their last outing during the midweek and their coach Makoto Teguramori can hope to field a strong starting line-up with only Teerasil Dangda being out with an injury.
The match will kick off at 6pm.
Meanwhile, defending champions Buriram United will be fancying another victory when they visit Trat Sunday evening.
However, the Thunder Castle will be without their new signing, Brazilian midfielder Lucas Crispim, who was sent off for elbowing a Sukhothai player in their 4-0 victory on Wednesday.
In the last fixture of the day, Uthai Thani will be hoping to bounce back with a victory in their home game with Nakhon Pathom United tonight.
